Africa contributed a relatively small share to global emissions, yet it is one of the regions most negatively affected by climate change through the increased prevalence of extreme weather events and direct consequences related to food security and livelihoods.

Climate technologies and Cleantech are increasingly being seen to contribute to not only reducing but also addressing the negative effects of climate change on people and the planet.
